Loon Cove Cottage is a hidden guest cottage with two bedrooms and ocean access in a private, wooded setting. Enjoy ocean swimming and beachcombing and watching the sun set over Union Bay. An easy trip back to Acadia and an easier 5.5 mile trip to Ellsworth's stores. Layout: walk through sliders from the patio into the living room with wood stove, dining area and kitchen with cathedral ceiling and skylights; the master bedroom features a queen bed and closet for storage and a half-bath (toilet); bedroom 2 has two twins and a full bathroom (tub & shower); a closet in the living room houses the washer and dryer; the sunroom has a bench seat that could be a daybed and a pull-out sofa for extra sleeping quarters. Off the sunroom is a separate exit. Outside is plenty of parking space as well as a gas grill and a wood pile. Walk from the house down the path to the ocean beaches and a picnic table to watch the sun set.
